Mrs. Ella Mae Allen, 73, of Topeka, Kansas died Friday, July 24, 1970, at a Topeka hospital. Mrs. Allen, who operated a cafe in Hiawatha many years ago, suffered fatal injuries Friday when a car in which she was a passenger was involved in a two car collision in the 2900 block of West Tenth Street, Topeka.
She was born August 22, 1896 in Pennsylvania. She is survived by her husband, Donald E. Allen of the home, a daughter, Mrs. Mae J. Duncan of San Bernadino, California; a son, Raymond O. Jenkins of Fairfield, California; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11 o'clock Tuesday morning July 28, at the Wall-Diffenderfer Chapel, Topeka, with graveside services at two o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the Powhattan cemetery, Powhattan, Kansas.
