Mrs. Frances Allen, 85, of Perry Mill Road, passed away Friday, March 1, 2013 in Gulfport, MS.
Mrs. Allen was born January 10, 1928 in Mountville, GA, daughter of the late Henry Hill Towns and Odessa Pruitt Towns. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Clinton Allen.
Survivors include her daughter, Cynthia Slaughter and her husband Ronald of Fayetteville, GA; son, Randall Allen of Pine Mountain, GA; grandchildren, Richard Slaughter of Charlotte, NC and James R. Slaughter and his wife Trixy of Locust Grove, GA; great-grandchildren, Christopher Slaughter and Kaitlyn Slaughter both of Locust Grove, GA; and one sister, Louise Towns Jones of Newnan, GA.
The gathering of family and friends will be this evening from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary with the memorial following at 7:00 p.m. Rev Gary Parrish will officiate. A private memorial will be held at a later date in Hillview East Cemetery.

The family request that all flowers be omitted and contributions be made to a favorite charity in memory of Mrs. Frances Allen.
