Armatha Iwonder Allen, 79, a loving mother and grandmother, answered her Master's call Saturday, Dec. 11, 2010, at a local care center. Celebration of life: 11 a.m. Friday at Galatian Baptist Church, 4140 Burke Road. Interment: Cedar Hill. Visitation: 1 to 7 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of historic Baker Funeral Home. Armatha was born Sept. 24, 1931, in Jacksonville. Survivors: Sons, Wilbert, Gene (Janette), Kenneth (Shirlette), Nathaniel and Dervin Allen; daughters, Madeline Flemons (Arthur), Geraldine and Rachel Allen; sisters-in-law, Alberta and Nellie Harris; 15 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
