BAXTER – A memorial graveside service for Bobbie H. Allen, 65, of Baxter will be held Saturday, Sept. 27, at 2 p.m. at the Odd Fellows Cemetery in Baxter.
Mr. Allen died on Friday, Sept., 19, 1997, in Little Rock, AR, after a long illness.
He was born on Sept. 22, 1932, to the late Harrison and Flora Allen.
His family includes two sons, Bobby and Steve Allen of AR; a daughter, Betty Ann Smith of Mt. Clemens, MI; two sisters, Marie Carroll of Little Rock AR, and Margie Shanks of Baxter; a special friend, Mae Smith of Cookeville; grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Bonny Ruth Martin and Jean and Willene Maxwell; and two brothers, Fred Carmon and Johnny Ray Allen.
