Alice Mae Allen, 91, of Ooltewah, died Monday, Dec. 13, 2004, at her residence.

She was a third generation Seventh-day Adventist and a member of Collegedale Community Seventh-day Adventist Church. She gave many years of service to her church in various departments as well as serving as church pianist and soloist for years.

She also gave of her musical talents to launch the first radio station in Ocala, FL. She was employed by Florida Hospital in Orlando, FL, for several years.

She was educated at Southwestern Junior College in Keene, TX, and Southern College in Collegedale.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell E. Allen, and sister, Cleo.

She is survived by her son, Robert "Bob" Allen of Ooltewah; granddaughters, Kim Parker of Collegedale, Pam Parker of Cleveland, TN, and two great-grandsons, Scott Coulter and Casey Parker.

Funeral services will be on Friday at 1 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Jerry Arnold and the Rev. Kevin Becker officiating.

Pallbearers will be Joey Parker, Jackie Parker, Jack Parker, Eddie Young, George Miller, Fred Dickerhoff, Scott Coulter, Casey Parker.

The interment will be at Collegedale Memorial Park.
