Roy C. Allen, Hanson County Pioneer, Dies
Roy Curtis Allen, 70,son of Addison C & Eliza (Richardson) Allen, Hanson county resident for the past 63 years died Sunday morning at a local hospital.
The H.Noble and Son Funeral home is in charge of services which will be conducted Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. in the Methodist church at Alexandria. Burial will be in an Alexandria cemetery.

He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Ellen Allen, Alexandria; a son, Russell, Tacoma, Wash; a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Stroup, West Branch, IA; a step-daughter, Mrs. Mildred Sage, Sioux Falls; sister, Mrs. Carrie Tolivor, Portland, Ore., and a brother, Fred(Maude Mcmaster) Allen, Tacoma Wash. Nieces and nephews.
Preceded him in death were his nephew baby Howard Allen and wife Margarate in 1926 and his paternal Allen grandparents, distant Fred Allen relatives -Aunt Mary Allen and Uncle Ransom Allen.
