Mrs. Allen was preceded in death by her husband, A.M. Allen Jr.; one sister, Elizabeth Cruthird; and one granddaughter, Mamie Allen.
Mrs. Allen was a teacher in the public schools in Moorhead and Indianola and also taught at Indianola Academy. She was a member of Moorhead Methodist Church.
Survivors include two sons, A.M. Allen III of Baton Rouge, La., and John S. Allen of Bartlett, Tenn.;
a sister, Carolyn Bushman of Jackson;
three brothers, Charles G. Youngblood Jr. of Warner Robins, Ga., and Frank M. Youngblood and Dr. W.A. Youngblood both of Jackson;
seven grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
