Funeral services were held Tuesday, August 27, at 2 p.m. at Dickins Chapel. Rev. Bryan Bailey officiated the service. Burial was in Forrest Memorial Park. Dickins Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.
Allen, daughter of the late John E. and Anne B. Bradford Taylor, was born April 6, 1913, in Panola County. She was a housewife and a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Oxford. She was the widow of the late Lawrence P. Allen.
Survivors include three sons, Lawrence E. Allen of Memphis, Tennessee, Bobby Allen of Jackson and John Allen of Courtland; two daughters, Betty Conner of Oxford and Lorene Knight of Madison; 10 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
