CLARKSDALE - Jane Covington Allen, 93, artist, died of heart failure Friday in Roswell, Ga. Mass will be said at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church with burial in Oakridge Cemetery. Nowell Funeral Home has charge. She leaves a sister, Anne Wynne Allen Barringer of Tazwell, Ark.; three brothers, Henry T. Allen, William Horace Allen and Smart Allen, all of Clarksdale. The family requests that memorials be sent to St. Elizabeth Catholic Church.
