Margaret Johnson, 72, of 211 W. Pike Street died at 3:11 am Sunday in Culver Union Hospital emergency room.
She was a member of V.F.W. She was educated in Alamo High School.
She was born Nov. 20, 1922, in Alamo to Freeman and Leona Krout Allen. She married Walter Fairfield. He preceded her in death. She later married Alfred Johnson who also preceded her in death.
Survivors include two sons, Walter Fairchild, Jr. and James Fairfield, both of Crawfordsville, four daughters, Kathy Largent, Sandra Butler, Marsha Jones, and Shirley Bray,all of Crawfordsville; a brother, Carl Allen of Waynetown; four sisters, Jean Gleason, Bernice McClamrock and Mary Brady, all of Crawfordsville, and Onie Hunley of Waveland; 20 grand-children; and 22 great-grand-children.
The funeral is scheduled for 10 am Tuesday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home with the Rev. Clarence Lee officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8 pm today at the funeral home.
