BRIGHAM CITY- Orlin DeVon Allen, 55, of 427 W. 300 N. died Thursday, Feb. 18, 1982, in Brigham City Community Hospital.

He was born Feb. 17, 1927, in Tremonton, a son of Isaac Samuel and EImina Heaton AIIen.

He married Maurine Iva Hardy on Jan. 22, 1954, in the Logan LDS Temple. She died Oct. 24, 1967. He married Mary Ann Waite on May 31, 1968, in the Logan LDS Temple.

He had served an LDS Mission on the Apache Reservations in Arizona and New Mexico. He was a member of the Brigham City 15th LDS Ward and had served in the Seventies Quorum.

He was a veteran of World War II.

He had worked for the Browning Ranch in Promontory, Utah. He had been a deputy sheriff for 16 years in Box Elder County. He retired from Intermountain School in 1978.

Surviving are his widow of Brigham City, one son, Blaine Devon Allen, Brigham City; one stepson, Ronald J. Barbar, Brigham City; two daughters, Mrs. Keith (Denise) Cline, Layton; LeiAnn Allen, Ogden: one stepdaughter, Sandy Davis, Logan; eight grandchildren.

Also surviving are five sisters, Mrs. Nondus Jackson, Spanish Fork; Mrs. Grant (LaReal) Mace, Orem; Mrs Howard (Delma) Link, Salt Leke City; Mrs. Karl (Nelda) Norman, Richfield, Idaho; Mrs. Don (Merle) Kortright, Layton.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 12 noon at the Brigham City 15th LDS Ward chapel with Bishop Darel Johnson officiating.

Friends may call at the Olsen Funeral Home, 205 S. 1st E., Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday from 10:40 to 11:40 a.m. Interment in the Brigham City Cemetery.
