Nat Allen, 77, of 356 North 100 West, Brigham City, died Feb. 2, 1989, of cancer.
He was born Aug. 18, 1911, in Manning, Texas, to Augustus and Sara Divin Massey Allen.
He received his early education in East Texas and graduated from Stephen F. Austin college in 1925 with a BA degree in art and business administration.
He worked as a controller for Louisiana Ordinance plant until he joined the U.S. Army in December 1941. He served with the rank of captain as aide to Gen. William S. Rumbaugh, chief Signal corps officer on Eisenhower's staff, in England, France and Germany and was awarded the Bronze Star.
After World War II, he was a costume and set designer for Warner Brothers studio in California; administrative assistant to the general manager, Remington Arms, East Texas, and held a similar position with Thiokol Chemical corporation in Manhall, Texas.
He came to Brigham City in 1959 as assistant to Thiokol's vice president and general manager.
With his cousin, Thomas J. Dunsford, he founded Dunalle House Interior Design studio in Brigham City and after Dunsford's death, continued until 1977 when he retired and sold the business. He established Custom Custom Interior Design in 1979 and remained active in business until his

Friends were invited to call last Friday at Peterson Funeral chapel in Brigham City. Interment was in Brigham city cemetery.
