Bartlett G Allen, 51, of Conneaut Lake, formerly of Distant, died at 10:50 am Friday, January 14, 1944 in the Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh.

Mr. Allen is survived by his wife, Mrs. Pearl Divley Allen and the following children:
B Merril Allen, Greensburg
H. Galen Allen of Munch, Pa
Mrs. Helen Joseph of Youngwood
Gwendolyn and Arthur Allen, both of Greensburg.

His father and one brother survive: John R Allen and Gilbert G Allen, both of Distant, Pa. Five grandchildren also survive.

He was an employee of the Keystone Ordnance Works at Geneva, Pa.

Funeral services were held in the Church of God, Distant, Monday at 2:45 pm with Rev. John Bethune, pastor of the Trinity Reformed Church, Berlin, Pa and Rev. J. Fetzer, pastor of the Methodist Chirch, Conneaut Lake, Pa., officiating.

Interment was made in the Oakland Cemetery.
