Mr. Allen, born in Weimer TX, died at the Pleasant Manor Nursing Home and was buried in Fraternal Cemetery.
He was a member of the Joshua Chapel AME Church and the Progressive Lodge 342. He had worked for many years at the Bluebonnet Tourist Courts.
Survivors included a daughter, 7 grandsons, 13 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
