Earl J. Allen, 76, of Boydton, died December 9, 2008. He was the widower of Mary Alice Allen, a retired employee of Kinderton Country Club, a member of Liberty Baptist Church and a member of Woodmen of the World. He is survived by his children, Jerry Allen of Chase City, Gerald Allen of California, Wanda Crump and husband, Baxter of Evington, Ellie Davis and husband, Mark of Greenville, NC, sisters, Minnie Rogers of Boydton, Lillie Floyd of LaCrosse, Dorothy Tollerson of Boydton, grandchildren, Bridget Crump and Holly Crump of Evington, Renee' Harmon of Roanoke, great grandchild, Edwin Sean Montanez of Roanoke.
