Mrs. Allen was born July 15, 1932 in Hodges, Texas. She had been a resident of Hermleigh since 1978. She was a member of the Central Baptist Church in Hermleigh.
She married Dupree Allen December 21, 1957 in Abilene. He survives along with one son, Skip Allen of Clarksville, AR; three daughters, Viki Guidry of Houston, Brenda Molina and Ellen Allen, both of Hermleigh; one brother, Homer Jones of Hermleigh; four grandchildren; one niece and one nephew. She was preceded in death by her father, Buster Jones in 1988 and her mother, Ellen May Jones in 1959 and one brother and sister.

Services were Tuesday, February 4, 1992 at 2 p.m. in the Kerrville Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jim Townsend officiating.

Services were held Wednesday at 10 a.m. in Central Baptist Church, Hermleigh, and burial followed at 3 p.m. in Spur Memorial Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society.

Kerrville Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
