Betty Ann (Marriott) Allen, age 73, of Eureka, Missouri, passed away Saturday, May 31, 2008 at her home. She was born June 5, 1934 in Morgan County, Missouri the daughter of Jewel Cleo and Valley Brooks Comstock Marriott. She was united in marriage on February 9, 1952 to Robert Allen in Morgan County. Mrs. Allen was a member of the West Union Baptist Church of Versailles. She is survived by her husband, Robert Allen of the home; four sons, Phillip Wayne Allen and wife Patricia, of La Center, KY, David Lee Allen and companion Sherri, of Arnold, MO, Daniel Eugene Allen and wife Lisa, of Eureka, MO, Andrew Craig Allen of Washington, MO; four daughters, Ruth Ann Bradberry and husband Clifton, of Rock Hill, MO, Karen Joy Marler and husband Mark, of Fenton, MO, Lesa Gae Arnhart and husband Ken, of Farmington, MO, Bobbie Sue Gammell and husband James, of Pacific, MO; one brother, Chester Lee Marriott, of Americus, MO; two sisters, Linda Kay Marriott Berendzen of Versailles, MO, Darlene Joyce Marriott, of Versailles; 19 grandchildren, one great-grandchild, five step grandchildren, two step great-grandchildren, many other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, William Jewel Marriott and Kenneth Gregory Marriott. A celebration of life funeral service will be at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, June 4, 2008 at the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home in Versailles with Pastor Ralph E. Green officiating. Burial will be in the Versailles Cemetery. Casketbearers are Brian Allen, Cory Marler, Johnathan Marler, Justin Allen, Mark Marler, Clifton Bradberry, and James Gammell. Honorary casketbearers are Chuck Moesch and Ray Richardson.
