Joe Allemang is Dead.
Joe Allemang, Justice of the Peace of Gas City, died about 9 o'clock last night after a prolonged seige of typhoid fever. The funeral will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock at Gas City and the remains will be buried in Iola cemetery.
Mr. Allemang was one of the leading men of Gas City, a good citizen and a good family man. The confidence which his fellows reposed in his judgement and uprightness was shown by his election to the position of justice. He was thirty-nine years old and leaves a wife and four children. He was a member of the Modern Woodmen and the A.O.U.W. and carried $2,000 life insurance in these orders.
