He was born April 12, 1952 in Coleman, Texas. He moved to Midland in August 1979 and was a loyal employee of Ortloff Engineers since that time.
Bobby was a devoted husband and father. He enjoyed spending time with his extended family and was looking forward to working on his "Ponderosa".
Bobby was preceded in death by his mother, Lena Allcorn, father-in-law, Irl A. Welch, and sister-in-law, Sharlene Forsythe.
Bobby is survived by his wife, Juanita Allcorn of Midland, TX; sons, Charlie Worcester and fiancée, Charity, Christopher, Jeffery and Corey Allcorn, all of Midland, TX; his father, Robert Allcorn of Coleman, TX; his brothers, Ricky Allcorn and wife, Judy, Jimmy Don Allcorn and wife, Michelle, Gary Allcorn, all of Coleman, TX; and Larry Allcorn of Houston, TX; sister, Deborah Isbell of Coleman, TX; He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Maedell Welch of Midland, TX; brothers-in-law, Mack Worcester and wife, Becky, of Midland, TX; Clayton Worcester and wife, Terry, of Kalama, WA; and Ricky Jackson of Midland, TX; sisters-in-law, Joyce McCormick and husband, Gary, of Plainview, TX; and Janette Worcester of Midland, TX; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Bobby was a faithful member of Bellview Baptist Church, was active in the adult choir and served on the transportation committee for a number of years. He taught RAs, Sunday School, and Vacation Bible School. His desire was to lead children to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.
The family will receive friends at Ellis Funeral Home, Monday, February 20, 2006 between the hours of 7:00 P.M. and 9:00 P.M.
Funeral services have been scheduled for 3:00 P.M. Tuesday, February 21, 2006 at Bellview Baptist Church with Reverend Myron Unruh officiating. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Arrangements are under the direction of Ellis Funeral Home.
