Mrs. Christine Johnson Allbritton, 64, died Saturday afternoon (May 14, 2005) at her residence after an extended illness.

She is a native of Bartow County, but she has lived most of her life in Ware and Brantley County. She worked for a sewing factory, Pic-N-Save, and she was a manager for Flash Foods. She was also a member of Calvary Baptist Church several years ago.

She is the daughter of the late Andy Clarence Johnson and Ruth Lockring Johnson. She is the wife of the late James Daniel Allbritton. She is also preceded in death by a brother, Troy Johnson.

She is survived by two daughters, Deborah Blair (husband Steve) of Middleburg, FL, and Krystal Cox (husband Jerry) of Waycross; four grandchildren, Billy Blair and Stephen Patrick Blair, Jr. (wife Maggie) both of Middleburg, FL, Misty Smith (husband Derrick) of Blackshear, and Daniel Cox of Waycross; four great grandchildren, Karli Blair, Evan Blair, Kearston Smith and Matt Smith; two sisters, Nila Baldwin (husband George) of Calhoun, and Patricia Ann Steedley (husband Donald) of Waycross; a brother, Leroy Johnson (wife Margie) of Calhoun; and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held 3:30 p.m. Tuesday (May 17, 2005) at the Music Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in High Bluff Cemetery. The family will receive friends 7 until 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Employees of Flash Foods are asked to meet 3 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home to serve as honorary pallbearers.
