Sara passed away at Memorial Hermann Baptist Hospital, Beaumont, Texas.
A resident of Lumberton, she was a 1959 graduate of South Park High School, and received her B.S in nursing from the University of Texas in Houston. She was a clinical nurse at Herman Hospital, Cleveland Memorial Hospital and Rusk State Hospital.
She was preceded in death by her parents Adeline Heard Allardyce and Robert James Allardyce.
Survivors include her sons Robert James Downing, John Reagan Rhine, Metri Jason Rhine and wife Lisa and Cecil Tobias Rhine and wife Jeannine; her five beloved grandchildren, Amber and Ashley, Danielle, Justin and Cecilia Jeanne; her aunt Vera Heard Ballis, her uncle Lindsey Heard and aunt Bernadine Johnson Heard along with thirty first-cousins.
