Rowena L. Becsey, who owned the Williams Personnel Service until her retirement in 1969, died Thursday in a local nursing home. She was 97 and resided at 1111 NE Tillamook St.
Born in Walla Walla, Wash., she had lived in Oregon many years and was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Lincoln Memorial Park.
The family suggests remembrances be contributions to the Shriners' Crippled Children's Hospital.
Surviving are three nephews, R.R. MacKenzie and John Allan, both of Portland; David Allan of Oakland, Calif.; and two nieces, Susan and Michele Hoyez, both of Portland.
