MOUNT CARMEL -- Gilbert Alka, 82, died Saturday, March 25, 2006, at Vistacare Riverpoint in Evansville.
He was a retired inspector for Dow Chemical and a member of First Christian Church.
He is survived by wife, Mona Wade; sons; Ralph, Donald, Michael, and Dana Wade; daughters, Jana West, Patti Morgan, Kris McClane; brother, Richard; sisters, Shirley Curry and Rosanna Peterson; and 15 grandchildren.
The body will be cremated and a memorial service at First Christian Church will be held at a later date. Short Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
