America (Adams) Aliff, 96, of Huntington, W. Va., passed away Friday, March 1, 2013, at Huntington Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born July 11, 1916 at East Lynn, W. Va. a daughter of the late William and Anna Adams.
She was a retired seamstress. She was also retired from the former Huntington Manufacturing Company and she worked for the Wayne County Community Services.
She was also preceded in death by
her first husband, Burl Reed Donahoe;
her second husband, Ivan Aliff;
three brothers, Karo, Canso, and Moscow Adams;
five sisters, Nancy Kinder, Spicie Belcher, Mitti Burns, Jessie Blankenship and her twin sister, Pauline Morrison.
her son and daughter-in-law, James William and Dorothy Donahoe of South Point, Ohio;
seven grandchildren, several great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews including two special nieces Anna Mae Donahoe, who took care of her and Lola Belcher.
Funeral service at the Reger Funeral Chapel. Burial in the Donahoe Cemetery, East Lynn, W. Va.
