Orrin W. Alguire, 56, of 64 George Street, electrician at the Massena Works of Alcoa, died at 2:10 Thursday afternoon, March 29, 1956, in Massena Memorial Hospital, where he had been a patient several days.
Mr. Alguire was born August 19, 1899 in Harriston, Ontario, the son of Heman and Mary Wright Alguire. He came to Massena with his parents when a child of seven and had been employed at the Massena Works of Alcoa for many years. On December 28, 1925 he and Hazel Easterbrook were married in thee Presbyterian manse in Cornwall, Ontario.
Surviving are his wife, his mother, residing in Massena, two daughters, Mrs. Edmond (Marjorie) Duprey, Albany, and Miss Shirley Alguire, Massena; one son, Richard Orrin Alguire, a student at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Troy and one brother, Henry Alguire, Massena.
