Ida Rebecca Perryman "Lovis" Alford—She died at 5:33 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 18, 2008, at North Oaks Medical Center in Hammond.
She was 87, a native of Gillsburg, Miss., and a resident of Greensburg. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Greensburg and a retired nurse's aide from Lallie Kemp Regional Medical Center.
Graveside services will be held at New Zion Cemetery in Kentwood on Monday, Oct. 20, at 11 a.m....
She is survived by two daughters, Daisy Wascom and husband Jule, and Janis Lassiter and husband Mike, all of Greensburg; six grandchildren, Jeff Rohner, Glenda Wascom, Jana Causey, Vicki Rohner, Wayne Ard and Eddie Hayes; and six great-grandchildren, Colby, Chelsea and Carson Causey, Ryan and Rusty Wascom and Kayla Sagely.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ed and Pernese Perryman; sister, Juanita Lee; and four brothers, Carl, Clifton, Woodrow and Rodman Perryman.
McKneely Funeral Home, Kentwood, is in charge of arrangements
