Aniya Alexander was pronounced dead at the emergency room at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center after being hit in the 1800 block of West Lincoln Avenue by a Peoria police van used to transport prisoners.
Aniya was the daughter of Chaquanna Washington and Daryl Miller Sr.
Aniya leaves to cherish her precious memory her parents; two brothers, RTayvion Alexander and Daryl Miller Jr.; one sister, Jaziya Miller; and grandparents, Larry Washington and Carolyn Alexander and Arnestra Miller and Cliftoe Jackson.
