Olga Alexander dies in Ohio

Olga J. Alexander, 85, Columbus, Ohio, former Fairfield resident, died Tuesday, May 17, 1988, at Mount Carmel East Hospital in Columbus.

The service will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Behner Funeral Home with the Rev. Paul Vaughn officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. before the service.

Mrs. Alexander was born July 22, 1902, in Maywood, Ill., the daughter of Charles and Johanna Mathilda Larson Nyberg. She married Knox Lincoln Alexander June 18, 1935, in Columbus, Mo. He died July 9, 1974. A homemaker, she was a member of the Bethesda Baptist Church in Columbus, and had been a member of Faith Baptist Church in Fairfield.

Surviving are two daughters, Sylvia Ringer of Colorado City, Colo., Marilyn Vaughn of Columbus, Ohio; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
