John Michael Alexander, 31, of Mocksville, passed away Thursday, June 5, 2014 from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. Born December 23, 1982 in Iredell County, he was the son of Louis Gene Alexander and Anita Holder Wright. He was employed with Bestco in Mooresville, and loved to hunt and fish. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Christine Holder, Thomas Monroe Holder and Arlene Ruth Alexander and two nieces, Summer Nicole Elias and Brittney Nicole Newton. Those left to cherish his memory are his father, Louis Gene Alexander (Betty); mother, Anita Wright; brother, Phillip Lee Helms (Jenna); sisters, Crystal Dawn Albery (Wetzel, Sr.), Virginia Alexander Newton (Terry) and Mendy Newton (Michael Houston); step-sisters, Angelia Alden, Debra Giordano, Elicia Wright, and Frankie Satterfield; nieces and nephews, Tevin Newton, Kiera Newton, Rebecca Newton, Chole Brown, Dakotah Newton, Angel Albery, Bob Albery, Christina Stewart, Jeannie Stewart and Landon Roger Lee Helms and his girlfriend, Angela Coley. The family will receive friends Sunday, June 8, 2014 from 6:00 PM â€" 8:00 PM at Bunch-Johnson Funeral Home. The funeral service honoring John's life will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, June 9, 2014 at Beulah Heights Wesleyan Church with Rev. Trent Patterson officiating.
