OBITUARY - FROST
Julia A. Alexander was born May 4, 1866, at Marshfield, Mo., and departed this life Feb. 23, 1937, at the age of 70 years.
She was married to E.E. Frost Sept. 6, 1891, at Newtonia where they made their home. To this union four children were born, all of whom were present at the time of her death. They are Mrs. A.A. Stanbury of Sarcoxie, Mrs. Ralph Tanner of Winfield Kan., Mrs. H.J. Troxel of Newtonia, and Thomas B. at home.
Early in life Mrs. Frost confessed her belief in God and lived faithfully until her Savior called her home. She was a very devoted mother and wife and bravely bore her cares with never a complaint. Besides her children she leaves to mourn her passing, one sister and three brothers and eight grandchildren. Her husband preceded her in death some two years ago.
Funeral services were conducted at the Baptist church at Newtonia Feb. 25, Rev. Luther Carlin, pastor of the church, officiating. Burial was made in the Newtonia I.O.O.F. cemetery under the direction of the Neimeyer-Dungy Funeral Home.
