Mrs. Cora Alexander, wife of W.Scott Alexander, died at 8 oclock Friday night at the Decatur and Macon county hospital.She was forty eight years old. Her death was caused by a complication of diseases. She had been in failing health for several months .She had been in Chicago, returning home a few weeks ago and had been in the hospital about ever since then. Mrs. Alexanders maiden name was Cora Dyer. She leaves her husband and a son, Jack,aged nine years. She also leaves a brother, William Dyer and a sister, Mrs.Walter Peters of Los Angeles, Cal. Mrs. Peters has been at the bedside of Mrs.Alexander during the last week. Mrs.Alexander was a member of the Christian church and the Order of the Eastern Star. The body was removed to the Brintlinger & Son undertaking establishment and prepared for burial.
