Funeral services for Mrs. Harland McAfee, 70, of 1212-1/2 N. Division St., who died Tuesday in Mercy Hospital, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in Runge Chapel.
The Rev. Severin Bernas, of Grandview Baptist Church, will officiate.
Burial will be in Lenox, Iowa. Friends may call after 7 p.m. Thursday.
Born in Adams County, Iowa the former Edna Mae Alexander married Mr. McAfee in 1915. The couple resided in Mt. Vernon and Creston before coming to Davenport 38 years ago. Mr. McAfee died in 1935.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Leta Mae Paustian, Walcott, sons, Willard A, Calif, Wendel J., Cedar Rapids, IA and Clifford D. with the U.S. Navy, Gardenia, Calif.; 14 grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and brothers, Carmon Alexander, Lenox, Iowa, and Ernest, Kansas City, Mo.
