WELLINGTON, Texas - Alma Crawley, 86, died Saturday at her home.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Tom Thomson, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Schooler-Gordon Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
She was born June 22, 1896, in Bonita, Texas, and moved to Wellington in 1898. She attended Wellington High School with the Class of 1914; and attended what is now Texas Woman's University in Denton, Texas, and was a school teacher.
She and Reuben Crawley were married on November 29, 1919 in Memphis, Texas. She was a member of the 1924 Study Club, Retired Teachers Association and First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include two brothers, Earl and J.L. Alexander, both of Wellington; and a sister, Thelma Bairfield of Clarendon, Texas.
