Agnes "Ma" O'Donoghue, 88, Lincoln, died at 2:20 p.m. Monday (May 3, 2010) at Christian Village, Lincoln.
She was born on June 19, 1921 the daughter of Joseph and Genevieve Wheatly Alexander. She married Thomas Joseph O'Donoghue on February 12, 1944 in Hardinsburg, Kentucky. He preceded her in death in April, 1979.
Survivors: children, Tom (Cyndie) O'Donoghue, Tinley Park; Mike (Mary) O'Donoghue, Denny (Marsha) O'Donoghue, John "Q-Ball" (Gail) O'Donoghue, Ruth (Mike) Young, Cathy "Jinx" (Joe) Gleason, Pat (Judy)O'Donoghue, Dan "Boone" (Marsha) O'Donoghue, Dick (Myretta) O'Donoghue, Phillip "Punk" (Lynn) O'Donoghue and Tim (Shirley) O'Donoghue, all of Lincoln; 25 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers: Bernard and Jimmy Alexander; two sisters: Angela Robbins and Margaret Hinton; and one grandson: Wes O'Donoghue.
Mrs. O'Donoghue retired from the Lincoln Garment Factory. She loved spending time on her front porch with her family, kids, grandkids and great grandkids. She loved the high school Railer basketball games, the Illini and Kentucky State. She loved to fish. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church.
