Memorial services were held at Hawkins Chapel at 1:00 p.m. Friday, February 8 for Claude Franklin Alexander, 77, of Bridgeport. Dr. Raymond Horne was officiating minister.

Born October 31, 1913 at Duncan, Oklahoma, he died February 6 at Bridgeport.

He was married to Pauline Harris in Duncan May 27, 1933.

He was a charter member of Plato Baptist Church in Duncan, where he served as a deacon and Sunday school teacher. He retired from Halliburton Services in 1974.

He is survived by his wife, Pauline Alexander of Bridgeport; a son, Clyde Alexander of Morgan City, Louisiana; two daughters, Claudia Woodward and Veta Alexander, both of Bridgeport; three brothers, Jake Alexander of Texarkana, Wayne Alexander of Augusta, Texas and Bob Alexander of Levelland; two sisters, Mary Jane Robinson of Marlow, Oklahoma and Ona Mae Vance of Massilon, Ohio; eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a grandson, Brock Owen and two brothers, Earl and Chock Alexander.
