Mrs. Beulah Velton Mitchell, 81, died Wednesday, Dec. 15 at 2:50 am in Jennie Stuart Hospital after a brief illness.
Mrs. Mitchell was a native of Trigg County, born June 24, 1895, daughter of Edward Franklin and Add Eliza Hendricks Alexander. She was married to Tandy W Mitchell, December 25, 1912, who survives. She was a member of Siloam United Methodist Church.
Funeral services were held at Goodwin Funeral Home Thursday, Dec. 16 at pm with the Rev. Albert Kraus officiating. Song services were by Mrs. Mae Frankel and Mrs. Roger Newell with Mrs. Frankel at the organ. Burial was in Siloam Cemetery.
Survivors in addition to her husband, Tandy W Mitchell, include two daughters, Mrs. George W (Robbie) Larkins, Louisville, and Mrs. Gary (Hazel) Minton, Christian County; a son, Thomas Edward Mitchell, Fairdale; nine grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Preceding her in death was a son, Plomer Mitchell in 1935, a daughter, Mrs. Edna Earl Mitchell Fox in 1941, and a grandson, Robert Don Larkins, in 1943.
