Funeral services for Jay Alexander, 52, Dallas consulting engineer, will be held at 11 a.m. at Ed. C. Smith & Bros Chapel. Alexander died Monday in a Dallas Hospital after a short illness....Alexander was a native of Dallas. He attended Rice Institute and received his chemical engineering degree from the University of Texas. He had been a consulting engineer in Dallas more than twenty-five years. He is survived by his wife, his mother, Mrs. C. H. Alexander, Sr; two daughters, Mrs. J. W. DuHon and Mrs. Peggye Bradford; a brother, Charles H. Alexander, Jr., all of Dallas, and a sister, Mrs. Walter W. McAllister of San Antonio.
