TRAMMELL, SARAH JUNE ALEXANDER was born June 8, 1935, to the late William Ellis Alexander and Irona Black of Quintown, AL. Sarah June grew up in a wonderful loving family. Her brother Erwood and sister Betty Jo have given of themselves to help her in her time of need. She worked at Walker Drug Company, Wimberly and Thomas Hardware, Berthon Cleaners and Jefferson County General Services. She departed this life on August 5, 2005, after a courageous battle with cancer. She leaves a legacy for her family of her unselfish giving of herself and dedication to her son, Jeff. She leaves to cherish her memories her son, Jeffery Erskine Trammell; her daughter, Sarah Jacqueline Rhodes (Mike); her stepchildren, Carolyn Spain (Paul), Randy Trammell (Vicki) and Rex Trammell (Lisa); her grandchildren, Ryan Alexander Rhodes, Sarah Janna Rhodes and Leah Elise Slay; her devoted brother, Erwood Alexander (Sara) and loving sister, Betty Jo Ford (J.W.) She leaves her nieces and nephews whom she enjoyed and loved for many years. She enjoyed watching them grow up and have families of their own. The family will receive friends Sunday, August 7, 2005, from 3 until 6 p.m. at Crestview Memorial Funeral Home in Adamsville, AL. Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 8, 2005, at 11 a.m. at Crestview Memorial Funeral Home with Rev. John Rhodes officiating. Burial will follow in Quintown Church of Christ Cemetery.
