Susie Oliver Alexander, 91, died Friday night, February 11, 2005, at Tattnall Community Hospital. The Tattnall County native had lived in Collins all of her life. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Alexander.
She is survived by one daughter, Evelyn Murphy of Collins; four grandchildren: George and Dianne Murphy of Canton, Georgia; Frank and Lynn Murphy and Jennie and Don Warren, all of Collins; and Mary and Cleve Arthur of Reidsville; two sisters, Lucille Anderson and Christine Collins, both of Collins; seven great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, February 14, in the chapel of Bradley B. Anderson Funeral Home. Interment was in Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church Cemetery.
