S/O Sidney & Emma Moore Alexander; married Frances Aline Smith at Fort Worth, Texas on 27 August 1939. The couple moved to Cisco from Breckenridge in 1947 where they owned / operated Alexander Dry Cleaner for a number of years. Later, they owned a trucking business in Fort Worth and grocery and package stores in Monahans. He retired in 1971 and they returned to Breckenridge.

Survived by his wife; one daughter - Mrs. Thomas D. Wilson; one son - Ruel C. Alexander; two sisters - Mrs. Minnie Adams and Mrs. Bessie Fade; three brohters - Sam, Jesse and Van Alexander; four grandchildren.
