Rev. George Stevens, of Stapp's Chapel conducted the funeral services over the remains of the late Mrs. Elizabeth Alexander, which took place Saturday after noon from the residence of Hon. L. L. Haworth. The deceased was the mother of Mrs. Haworth, and she had lived to the good old age of 93. The dwelling was filled with friends of the family many of whom sent in beautiful floral tributes. A select choir provided music. The following gentlemen served as pallbearers: James W. Haworth, George D. Haworth, K. H. Roby, V. H. Parke, Geo. Simpson and W. L. Hammer. The remains were interred in Greenwood. Deceased
was a native of Kentucky, and her declining years were made comfortable in the home of her daughter.
