Alfonso was a kind and loving person with many friends and family in the Converse and San Antonio, Texas area. Al was a truck driver, hauling steel (rebar/wire mesh) for many years. He loved to shoot pool and was very good at it.
He was married to Diana Burleson and step-father to Ryan Burleson in the 1980's before their amicable divorce. He remained a welcomed member of his ex-wife's family.
My thanks to Raymundo for the funeral and cemetery information.
Alfonso was buried on Christmas Eve 2004 after a funeral mass at St. Monica's Catholic Church in Converse. There was a large group of friends and relatives at the mass and burial.
