He was born May 22, 1930 in Summerset County, Pennsylvania to Joseph Howard and Elizabeth Aldstadt.
Howard was a history buff and loved to read about the wars America fought. He enjoyed music and had the talent to whistle any tune he heard to perfection. Ice cream and cherished family memories always seemed to go together and life was good as long as his beloved wife. "Gretel" was close by. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He is predeceased by his parents and 2 brothers.
Loving survivors include his wife, Gretel Aldstadt, of Hot Springs Village; son, Keefe Aldstadt, of Texas; sons, Jeff Aldstadt and Bret Aldstadt, of California; daughters, Kimberly Felix (Kelly) and Jody Aldstadt, of California; step-son, Robert Hurley, of Hot Springs Village; step-daughter, Denise Mattingly of Arizona; step-daughter, Christina Hurley-Davison (Todd),of Arizona; step-son, Timothy Hurley, of Oregon; his first wife, Kathy Aldstadt; 2 sisters, 13 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
