MURPHYSBORO - Dana Ann (Hughes) Aldridge, 43, of Petersburg, formerly of Murphysboro, passed away at 3:45 p.m. Friday, Oct. 1, 2010, in Sunny Acres Home in Petersburg.
She was born April 3, 1967, in Murphysboro to Dennis and Winifred (Roseberry) Hughes. She married Michael Aldridge in 1991.
Mrs. Aldridge was a member of Rhema Church in Broken Arrow, Okla.
Dana is survived by her husband and two children, Taylor and Jared Aldridge, all of Petersburg; her father, Dennis Hughes of Murphysboro; a brother, Dennis Hughes Jr. of Metropolis; many loving aunts, Aunt Nancy Roseberry, Aunt Terry Biggs and Uncle Robert Biggs, and Aunt Sandra Edwards and Uncle Frankie Edwards; and many cousins, Rick Roseberry, Chris and Rob Borgsmiller, Ryan and Joceley Edwards, Brittney Lindsey, Nick Lindsey, Tiffany Biggs, Troy and Kristen Biggs, Lorren and Jenna Biggs and Austin Biggs, Catlin Hughes and Evan Hughes.
She also leaves Uncle Jimmy Hughes and Aunt Barbara Hughes and Uncle Louis Berger; and cousins, Todd Hughes, Mark and Michelle Berger and Bart Berger.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Winifred Hughes; many uncles and aunts; and her loving cousins, Angela Lindsey, Shane Worthen and Frankie Edwards.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. today in Cobden Cemetery, with Pastor Abraham Mogerman officiating.
