Parker Simpson Aldridge was born a son to the Reverend William Warren Aldridge and Iris Rosalor Parker Aldridge. He married Sue Bracken, a daughter of John Allen Bracken and Mary Elizabeth Watterson Bracken.

HARTSELLE -- Funeral services for Parker Aldridge, 74, Danville 3, who died Saturday at a Lawrence County Hospital will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Upton's Chapel Methodist Church, Revs. Hulett Aldridge and Finis Self officiating. Burial will be in the Johnson Chapel Cemetery, Peck Funeral Home directing.
Survivors include the widow, Mrs. Sue Aldridge, Danville 3; two sisters, Mrs. Nettie Owen, Decatur and Mrs. Edna Brown, Danville 3; two brothers, Grady Aldridge, Venice, Florida and Hewlitt Aldridge, Decatur 3.
Mr. Aldridge was a member of the Upton Chapel Methodist Church and a veteran of World War I. The body will lie in state at the church for an hour preceding the funeral.
Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
