Darwin F. Aldrich, 86, a retired pharmacist, passed away Friday, Nov. 5, 2004, at home.
Funeral: 3:30 p.m. Tuesday in Greenwood Chapel. Burial: Greenwood Memorial Park. Visitation: 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Monday at Greenwood Funeral Home.
Darwin was born Aug. 14, 1918, in Terre Haute, Ind. He was a registered pharmacist in Indiana, Maryland and Texas. Darwin was a graduate of Butler University School of Pharmacy and received his master's degree of science from Purdue University.
He was a member of First Covenant Church where he served as an elder and adult Sunday school teacher.
He was preceded in death by his parents (J. D. Aldrich and Bertha Pierson); sons, William Dale and Lawrence Lee; grandson, Justin; two brothers; and two sisters.
Survivors: Daughters, Janine Peck and husband, Pat, Becky Fuller and husband, Steve; sons, Tim and wife, Cindy, Andy and wife, Diana, all of Fort Worth, Darwin and wife, Jeanne of Portland, Tenn.; grandchildren, Stacey, Joshua, Randy, Kasey, Tricia, Steve, Amber, Ryan, Kobie, Melissa, Jeffrey, Nathan, Chelsea, Joel, Aaron and Matthew; 16 great-grandchildren; brother, Warren Aldrich and wife, Maxine of Terre Haute, Ind.; and sisters, Jean Haggard of Oakgrove, Okla. and Joan Brewer of Lincoln, Ill.
