ADAMS, Herbert H., Victor, was born in Perrinton, Monroe county, June 30, 1852. He came with his parents to the town of Victor when he was was nine years old. He was educated in the common schools and followed farming. March 21, 1872, he married Florida I. ALDRICH, of this town; they had a son and daughter, Dora F. and Orrin F. Mrs. ADAMS died August 17, 1891, mourned by a bereaved family and many friends. Mr. ADAMS's father, William, was born at Barnstable, Mass., about the year 1806, and came to this State at an early day. He married Matilda AUSTIN, of Cazenovia, and they have 7 children: David died at the age of 19 years; Frances, Freeman E., William W., Sarah J., John A. and Herbert H. Mr. ADAMS's grandfather ADAMS was a soldier in the Revolutionary War. His grandfather Austin, left Canada in time of the war, espousing his native country's career, and all his property there was confiscated.
**Mr. ADAMS's late wife was the only daughter of Gilbert J. ALDRICH, one of the oldest and much respected families of the town.**
