DAVENPORT — Dorothy I. Reis, 84, of Davenport, died Friday, June 10, 2011, at Genesis Medical Center, West Campus, Davenport. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 14, 2011, at 1 p.m., at The Runge Mortuary. Visitation will be Tuesday from noon until the service.

Dorothy was born August 29, 1926, in Davenport, the daughter of Myron and Irene (Dreyer) Aldrich. She was united in marriage to William R. Reis on May 1, 1944m in Davenport; he preceded her in death on May 31, 1981. She enjoyed gardening, cooking and spending time with her grandchildren.
Those left to honor her memory include her sons, Richard, John and Michael (Angela), Davenport; grandchildren, Shanna, Ben, Ellie, Jack and Matt Reis; and a sister, Judy Miller, Davenport.
Her parents and brothers, James and Lester, preceded her in death.
