Family was very important to Eugene. He was an avid sports and NASCAR fan and loved to play Rook. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Sedalia. Eugene served his country honorably in the US Army.
He is survived by one brother, Leslie Alderman of Sedalia; one niece, Carolyn Snow and her husband, Lynn of Sedalia; two nephews, Doug Alderman and his wife B.J. of Stillwell, KS and Jeff Alderman and his wife Cathy of Camdenton.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Kenneth Alderman.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, May 11, 2012 at First Baptist Church, Sedalia with Rev. Marlin Brown officiating.
Family will receive friends one hour prior to service.
Burial will be in Antioch Baptist Cemetery, Manila, MO.
Pallbearers will be Jacob Alderman, Curtis Alderman, Patrick Easter, Brett Fox, Jeff Alderman and Doug Alderman.
Memorial contributions may be given to The American Cancer Society in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
