Mrs. Hattie Jane Beasley Alderman,81, of Rt. 1, Hillsville, Fremont community, widow of Ellis M. Alderman, died in a Marion hospital Thursday, April 25, 1968.

She was born in Carroll County Sept. 28, 1886, to Richard and Lucy Cochran Beasley.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Sexton Nester, Hillsville, and Mrs. Mal Nester, Wytheville; four sons, Howard Alderman and Robert Alderman, Hillsville, Herman Alderman, Wytheville, and Earl Alderman, Richmond; and a brother, Richard Alderman, Hillsville.

Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Funeral Chapel by Elder Ray Rotenizer and the Rev. Otto Utt.

Interment was in the Alderman Cemetery.
